How long do dermal fillers last?

Are dermal fillers painful?
Most modern fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing agent) to minimize discomfort. We also apply topical numbing cream before treatment. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a brief pinch. The treatment is well-tolerated by the vast majority of patients.
