Before Your Botox Treatment
To ensure optimal results and minimize potential side effects, please follow these guidelines:
7 Days Before Treatment:
• Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements including aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, and garlic supplements (unless medically necessary - consult your physician).
• Discontinue topical retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin) on the treatment area.
24 Hours Before Treatment:
• Avoid alcohol consumption, as it can increase bruising risk.
• Do not schedule facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion.
Day of Treatment:
• Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup.
• Eat a light meal before your appointment to prevent lightheadedness.
• Inform your provider if you have recently been ill or have an active infection.
Important: Notify your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any neuromuscular conditions such as myasthenia gravis.
General Care Guidelines

- Keep the treated area clean and dry
- Follow medication instructions exactly as prescribed
- Attend all scheduled follow-up appointments
- Contact us immediately if you notice unusual symptoms
Don'ts
- Pick at or scratch the treated area
- Expose treated area to direct sunlight without protection
- Use harsh skincare products or exfoliants
- Skip or delay your follow-up appointments
